Chatsworth Consortium
Although the name may sound peculiar, the Chatsworth Consortium is just a bunch of regular guys who love harness racing and bring a lot of handicapping experience to the table. Although the members change slightly over the years, the core group of guys have been picking winners and cashing tickets together since before automatic wagering machines became popular. Working together to cover virtually every track on a daily basis, they typically provide the best three value bets in the race, with supporting commentary and analysis. This team knows how to win and isn't afraid to pick a long shot or allow outside factors, such as the morning, line influence their decisions.
Rusty Nash
Rusty started his handicapping in college writing his first piece of software in the mid seventies. He quickly worked out a speed rating routine, with some minor tuning over the years, that continues to provide a solid short list of strong contenders. The addition of TrackMaster speed and class ratings has allowed Rusty to fine tune his formula even more. Like many other successful handicappers, Rusty believes in value wagering and sound money management.
Rusty's love of racing, and desire to compete at a professional level, led him to start racing and breeding a small stable of harness horses as a second business. He has successfully raced in New York & New Jersey and is currently based close to his home at Pocono Downs and on two private training farms in New Jersey. Several years ago, Rusty joined a racing partnership. This experience has enabled Rusty to race regularly and successfully at the Meadowlands. He brings his hands-on local knowledge of the Meadowlands and Pocono Downs horse, trainer, and driver colonies to the TrackMaster staff of handicappers.
Rusty regularly provides his Weekend Watch List which covers several of the major tracks running that weekend, highlighting horses to watch and spot plays.
